How We Research

Car Part Corner exists because most auto parts content is written by people who have never touched the part. We do it differently, and the process is deliberately boring.

Every product is verified before it is recommended

We locate each product on Amazon at the time of writing and confirm the exact listing, the current star rating, the review count and stock status. If we cannot verify a product is real and available, it does not go in a roundup. We do not recall ASINs from memory and we do not reuse a product across articles.

We publish no prices

Prices change faster than any site can update, and a stale price is worse than no price. Every link says Check Price on Amazon and takes you to the live listing. Specifications — PSI, amperage, viscosity, review counts — are concrete and we publish those freely.

We say when a category is mediocre

Some product categories are genuinely not very good, and some products are not really sold on Amazon at all. When that is true we say so rather than manufacturing enthusiasm. Credibility is the only asset a site like this has.

Selection standards

We prefer a high rating with a large review count over a perfect rating with a handful of reviews. We reject listings with fewer than about 25 reviews, and we do not make a top pick out of a listing showing low stock warnings. Where possible we choose three different brands so the comparison is meaningful.
